Hi there! My name is Destiny King and I am an interdisciplinary artist and portrait photographer. My portfolio is primarily musicians, but I love working with all peoples, including couples and graduates.
Learn more about Destiny: My inspiration for pursing music began with seeing my grandmother sing in the choir at church and playing the piano growing up - which I thought was so cool. After begging for piano lessons, I eventually (with lots of practicing and amazing mentors) was introduced to the oboe, which is my primary instrument today.
With over 13 years of musical experience and 4-5 years of being an arts administrator, my passion for the arts has been and is endless. Professional engagements of working at classical music festivals to portrait sessions with local musicians in North Carolina, has only enabled me to become more engaged with creating a community and making endless memories.
After I began to expand my clientele, I now specialize in graduation and couple shoots. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in a shoot!
