Why should I hire a professional photographer?
Hiring a professional photographer allows you to capture your special moments and share it with your loved ones. Choosing who to photograph is important to make sure the editing, aesthetic, and overall working relationship matches what you’re looking for. The perfect way to get to know this is through a consultation. Feel free to book me for a consultation on my Contact Form to learn more about avcutephotographer and my working style!

Can you breakdown the process of booking a session?
A walkthrough of booking a session looks like:
Visiting all pages of the website to become acquainted with avcutephotographer previous work and packages
Booking a consultation on the Contact Form (length of session is dependent on package chosen)
The consultation will include us talking about what you’re looking for and going over agreements/expectations between photographer/client.
-
What is the cancellation/rescheduling/late policy?
Cancellation policy: A consultation or session without a 72 hour notice will negatively impact working with avcutephotographer in the future. Communication is key in any relationship which is expected on both ends as we plan your desired shoot.
Rescheduling policy: For any rescheduling, agreement of the date must align with the photographer and client’s schedule. One complimentary date will be given if communicated 72 hours in advance. If inclement weather is an issue, then the shoot will move indoors. The creative direction may cause a date to reschedule which will cause no additional charges if in accordance to the above policy.
Late policy: Arriving late to a session of more than 15 minutes lessens the amount of time you have left and will result in a shorter session. You will still need to pay the full amount of the session booked. If you’re more than 25 minutes late, then the session will be cancelled if not communicated beforehand. However, should my schedule allow it, you may choose to extend your session by any increments at a given rate.
-
How and when will my pictures be delivered?
Time of post-production will be 2-3 weeks. Contact photos will be delivered via Google Drive, and the final photos will be given through a download link and a USB.
-
Do you backup or otherwise secure images for protection?
All photos are backed up on an SD card, hard drive, and then secured into post-production clouds immediately after the shoot.
-
Do you give raw (unedited) files?
Raw files will not be shared as the work that is being shared not only with you, but in the name of the photographer, are all post-production. The final product is not only smaller in size in comparison to RAW files, but also has more time being edited to become vibrant and alluring in comparison to a flat or with a feeling of being unfinished. If you have any questions regarding RAW files, feel free to contact avcutephotographer@gmail.com or in your consultation when booking.
-
What are touch-ups and are they included in each package?
Touch-ups are included in every package. This will always be covered in consultation and will be up to the discretion of the photographer and client.

What does avcutephotographer mean?
avcutephotographer: I have always used “avcute” (a very cute) in front of most of my creative works that are posted online, from my oboe account to my covid hobby of penpalling, this has always stuck with me. As I began my photographing journey, I knew I wanted to keep this tradition which is how “avcutephotographer” (a very cute photographer) came about.
